OCA Lunch

Oakwood Christian Academy does not provide school lunches. Students will need to bring lunch to school on scheduled school days (See Oakwood Christian Academy Academic Calendar). Microwaves and refrigerators are not available for student use.

Oakwood Christian Academy will provide a pizza lunch day once a month for $5.00 per student.

If a student forgets his/her lunch and a parent or guardian cannot bring his/her lunch, the student will be provided a lunch at a charge of $5. This fee should be paid in cash or check made out to Oakwood Christian Academy.

Parent-Student Lunches

Oakwood Christian Academy allows parents and guardians to come and eat lunches with their students during the student’s scheduled lunch time. During this time, parents may bring outside food for lunch for his/her student but not for other OCA students and must sit at a table with his/her student only.

OCA Snacks

Oakwood Christian Academy students are asked to bring a snack and a water bottle to school with them daily.

Oakwood Christian Academy will also sell snacks and drinks daily for students to purchase. The cost of snacks and drinks are 50 cents to one-dollar. If a student desires to purchase a snack or drink, he/she will need to bring cash to purchase. Exact change is greatly appreciated.

Birthday Celebrations

If a parent(s) desires to have a birthday celebration for his/her child, he/she should contact the student’s teacher a week prior to the day to see if there are any allergies that need to be considered. Store-bought items that are allergy-friendly to all student may be sent or brought to school for birthday celebrations. All birthday celebrations will be held during the student's scheduled lunch time.

OCA Water Bottle Requirements

Oakwood Christian Academy requests that all students bring a water bottle that has a closed-top and an auto spout. Contigo is a brand that makes great water bottles like this (https://www.gocontigo.com/water-bottles/ashland-2.0-24oz-water-bottle-with-autospout-lid/SAP_2145035.html) Please do not send any open top water bottles or hydroflasks. These tend to spill and make giant messes.
